Happy New Year!!

It's the first of the year and I've been busy getting my internet business off the ground. It's been pretty intense since this past summer when a few things seemed to click in my favor. My custom parts are selling well with more customer coming in the future according to members wish lists in the forums I follow and/or sponsor. I'm trying to expand my catalog by finding more niche market cars to produce parts for.

I hope you all have a happy and healthy and most of all productive 2010!! Work hard for what you have, never take from others and think for yourself don't let anybody influence you.

I'm still excited!

Well 14 sets of the Marauder control arms were sold in 1 week of the initial sale, I'm still receiving orders for those and a few other parts. Everything is going great right now and I'm still waiting for the fabricator to finish another part for those cars that I expect to sell even better then the control arms. If things keep going this great I should be able to buy the first sets of my own branded control arms for Mustangs and advertise with the profits from these parts. I'll keep you all posted.

I've put my own branded parts on the back burner for now and here's why. The fabricator was intrigued about making specialty parts for the Mercury Marauder. The Marauder is a Grand Marquis with all the "grand pa" removed, the chrome is removed and replaced with color matched grille and molding, the anemic 4.6L 2 valve motor is replaced with a 300hp 4 valve, the suspension has been fine tuned for performance among others. I collaborated with the fabricator to make a set of performance control arms for the car enabling harder launches and better high speed stability. The arms are made of high strength rectangular tube steal and fitted with polyurethane bushings with the same Delrin sleeve as in the Mustang arms for quiet grease less operation. They have been available for sale since Monday and already have sold almost a dozen sets. I'm currently running a special discount for MercuryMarauder.net members running until Wednesday the 2nd of September.

A few weeks ago I posted while I was buying parts one of my vendors offered me a chance to market my own branded parts. I will be purchasing his rear lower control arms for the 2005 to present Mustangs and selling them under my label of SpartaPerformance. His parts are premium quality and I'm getting them at such a discount that I can be priced below the major competition allowing me to make some sales under a price point. I hope that I can take advantage of this opportunity and expand my company. It doesn't stop there, we will also collaborate to make parts for the neglected Mercury Marauder and late model Crown Victoria. There is a fair amount of enthusiasm for these cars that has been ignored by many major manufacturers thus leaving me a doorway to an untapped market. I'm crossing my fingers.

I received the specifications for the manufactured parts in an email yesterday, right now I'm trying to see what the best way to get them out there would be. I think I may make a few "Group Buy" posts in some of the Mustang forums I go to. Let's see what happens. I hope this works I will list the control arms for $159.99 plus shipping and offer a $30 discount for forum members.

These are them, tubular in design with a performance durometer bushing for stability. The unique bushing is designed for whisper quiet use and needless of grease fittings.

I just received an offer to have Mustang rear control arms produced and marketed under my website business. It would a great beginning to start something bigger then just peddling other peoples parts. At this time I'm waiting for the final specs so I can set an appropriate cost and begin marketing. I just made a new website to showcase performance cars for American muscle cars. The Site name is Spartaperformance.com, it currently has performance parts for 1979 present Ford Mustang, I will be updating it with Challenger and Camaro parts in the next few days.
I also added CHE to the line up of performance suspension and chassis parts available for Mustangs. I really believe these are excellent parts, high quality in manufacturing and durability. I've installed various parts from their catalog on many of my customers cars including my own.
Since my last post about my Mustang I mentioned I've added some performance modifications I forgot about the suspension, I've lowered it using the FRPP 1.5" Handling Pack added CHE Chassis Bracing such as the K-Member with torque limiters and billet aluminum lower control arms by RPI.

... I've returned hopefully to make more frequent posts on what's been going on. My Mustang and I have been together now for 2 years beginning this month, to date I've made some performance modifications that include.

• 95mm Cold Air Intake
• Steeda Under Drive Pulleys
• GT-500 60mm Twin Throttle Body
• FRPP X-pipe
• Steeda CMRC Delete Plates
• JBA Axle Back Mufflers

The car has turned a 13.053 @ 107.44 mph in the quarter. Most familiar with drag racing know that the mph is a little high, I plan on adding RPI lower control arms, CHE relocation brackets and, new tires toy hopefully run into the high 12 second 1/4 mile.... that would be nice for a couple of bolt ons and still 32mpg highway. I have more to say but will leave it for the next day or two.

Anyway on June 28Been Gone for a long time from here. Went on vacation to Greece for 3 weeks then spent the other 3 trying to get reacquainted with normal life and let me tell you normal life sucks. LOLth I picked up my brand new 2007 Mustang GT. I love it it's Vista Blue with a manual transmission and it's fast, I plan on making some modifications such as a performance suspension and cold air intake. I'm going to post the modifications as soon as I recover financially from vacation and car down payment. Still updating the site with all new products. I'm really exhausted, There are so many cars and so many parts and just when you think you have a set layout my supplier adds more product. I'm starting to market the site now and getting more and more hits hopefully I'll be getting more and more purchases!! I just had to lay out my Mustang money for some other things so looks like I'm going to have to hold off on buying my new 2007 Mustang GT convertible for some time and that is no good, after a long night of staring at the computer adding product it would've been nice to jump in the car put the top down and cruise for some fresh air. Wow! Redoing my inventory is bigger job then I thought. I decided to switch to just automotive products because i thought it would be easier to keep track but I was wrong... nothing new there LOL. It seemed that my suppliers would run out of stock of electronics and gadgets I had posted on my site two days after I posted them, the automotive accessories I'm uploading are just too in abundance. There are accessories for tons of cars it's taking too much time I'm going crazy!!!! Switching Focus

Hey everybody how are you? I decided to change the product line up of my website MyCoolItems.com. I'm going to focus mostly on automotive related products and accessories. Big Fat Tire

Yesterday Mike mounted a 275/40/18 Tire on his factory Mustang wheel and it fit great. We were worried that it would bulge too much because the recommended rim width for a 285 is 9 inches and the factory Mustang rim is only 8 inches. Next step is too find a perfect tire. He's planning on getting the BF Goodrich g-force T/A KDW 2, it's a nice soft compound for traction. He's going to stagger the size with 255/45's front and 285/40's in the rear that with the F.R.P.P. suspension kit already installed will give the car a nice aggressive stance and much tighter handling.

Just added to my website are Sony PSP games units in Silver and Blue colors, already on there we have ceramic White and Pink. These colored units are not Untied States specific they are Japanese versions. Japanese version means that it will play any video game, so you can go to GameStop or wherever and buy any game you like, however because of different video formats between the U.S. and the rest of the world it will not play movies made for the U.S. market. Where to begin? I'm going to post blogs about various new products that I update on my website MyCoolItems.com, on my site i have different range of products from iPod dock stations to automotive accessories to LCD televisons, even home decor items. I would also like to blog about cars, even though domestic cars aren't too popular these days I love Mustangs, my friend Mike has a 2007 mustang GT and in the spring I want to get one also, I love the graber orange color and want to get a convertible so along with new website products I will be posting updates on performance upgrades on Mike's and my Mustangs.
